David has focused his entire legal career on the practice of community-association law, specifically in areas of collection and foreclosure work. Having navigated community associations through the mortgage- foreclosure crisis, David understands the need for quick and practical resolutions when it comes to collection and foreclosure issues. Over time, David has developed effective and unique strategies for negotiating with banks, homeowners, and tenants to ensure that an association’s interests are effectively represented. David has also litigated matters in federal courts, including issues relating to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the representation of associations as creditors in bankruptcy proceedings
Prior to the founding of Milberg Klein, P.L., David was a senior attorney at one of the largest community-association law firms in the State. There, he was involved with litigation and lectures to board members and property managers relating to collection strategies.
